This Guy Did It Again...

So the dude Drake released the final version to his song Forever and added more ammunition to the track. Kanye and Eminem hopped on the track alongside Drake and Lil' Wayne. Personally I'm not a fan of Drake nor Lil Wayne but this is finally a song I could actually listen to. Drake actually impressed but Kanye came the hardest. Eminem's flow killed the track and Lil Wayne was basically the Lil Wayne of today. I'm not impressed. But this is a song that's gonna blow so you already know. Take a listen.

The other day, Christine and I were angrily discussing the lack of males in Brampton we're attracted to, not that there isn't any handsome guys, its just that their wardrobe is usually a distraction from their looks. I'm the kind of person who is more attracted to how a person puts themselves together rather than their facial features. We realized that we are no longer attracted to the "goon" or the "gangster" unfortunately they seem to out number the amount of well dressed boys in Brampton.....where are they!? Hello Everyone ! So i was looking through my calender, and i realized school is fast approaching. Ahh ! I'm pretty excited. Any who, i wanted to make a list of Back to School Basics. Here i gooooo. -Cee

1. Jean Jacket. 2. Blazer - These two items are a nice addition to any outfit.
1. Corduroy Skinny's 2. Distressed Denim - These two pieces can go a long way, not only are cords a good pant choice but they can be straight leg as well as skinny. Distressed denim looks best in light colors in my opinion, and a cuffed leg just adds more of a messy look to the jeans[in a good way ]

1. Deep Neck Basic Pocket Tee 2. Boat neck retro Top 3. Burnout Tee - I deep neck pocket tee is pretty basic, you can wear it with leggings, jeans, and skirts. I think the Boat neck is pretty cool too, especially with chains and accessories, the Burnout Tee made a mark this summer! Burnout tanks are pretty nice too. There are so many types of Tee's i didn't want to add too many.

1. Cardigan 2. Denim Overshirt 3. Vintage Sports Sweater - I love these items because sometimes you just aren't in the mood to dress up. These are so comfy, and still nice at the same time. You can wear the Denim Overshirt with legging and a skinny belt. Niceee.

1. Vintage Pullover 2. Floral Tunic 3. Ruffle Front Tunic - I call these Basics optional. Everyone has their own style and preference. These random pieces are all satisfying to me !

Sooo, it's me again haven't spoken to you guys in a while. So in recent years I've been looking to get one pair only one pair of Air Jordans and I wanted them as unique as can be, and not with spongebob print, nor in jamaica colours, and the ones i want are finally released. The Air Jordan VII, now not the normal Air Jordan VII but the raptor. Unfortunately for the ramos, they come in a freaking inseparable pack with some Orlando Magic ones. Now i would love to have both but the Raptor is enough, and my mother raised no fool because i'm not about to put 5oo$ back into His Airness' hands. Raptor VII's :(. FML. Stay forever lint

Apparently Mr.West has been interning at the GAP. Being the wonderful intern he is, he has been soaking up a load of information and has been spending long nights with the designers. Let's clear the air with this one.

Lately i've been hearing a shit load about Couture. On T.V [Reitmans Commercial] and in Facebook names. Although the commercial humourously used the 'Haute Couture" statement in the correct form. There's no reason for it to be in someones facebook name. LOL. Haute couture is made to order for a specific customer, and it is usually made from high-quality, expensive fabric and is sewn with extreme attention to detail and finish, often using time consuming, hand executed techniques. It is not your everyday article of clothing, you don't find these on the shelves of your nearest Macy's or Aritzia. The term is also used loosely to describe all high-fashion custom-fitted clothing, whether it is produced in Paris or in other fashion capitals such as Milan, Londonn, Romee, New Yorkk or Tokyo. Couture is everywhere, and it is not meant for everyday wear. Until the 1950s, fashion clothing was predominated designed and manufactured on a made-to-measureeor haute couturee basis (French for high-fashion), with the garment being created for a specific client.

So according to Cashmoney / Young Money officials, Omarion has been released from the label. Ouuu, rumour has it that Omarion wasn't bringing in enough sales, and he was caught leaking unreleased music. So now, there's one in, and one out. Good luck O.

It's pretty sad, i haven't heard a track from Omarion in the longest time. I hope he gets back up on his feet sooner than later.

It's as official as it gets. Bow wow is a Young Money Millionaire. Why am i not as excited as Drake being signed? For the simple reason that this signing was Drakes big Success story. Bow Wow has been successful from the get go. He was nurtured and brought up by snoop and the gang. Young Money has a motive,  i'm not picking it up just as yet, but mehh.. I feel like Bow Wow is still trying to find himself. He used to do the sweetie tracks real nice, then he went in hard. I think he's still trying to figure out his style. He's older now, hopefully he has found himself. So now he has joined the likes of Drake & Omarion. LOL

Creativity At It's Best

If there's any reason why I love Lady Gaga (besides the fact that she has an amazing voice) it's because she's so creative and shameless when it comes to her style. I find it hard to believe she's comfortable wearing leotards and under garments in public, but she does it so shamelessly I'm just in love with it! The world definitely wasn't ready for her. Many of the things she wears, only she could pull off. There's a stupid rumor that she's a hermaphrodite....I refuse to believe that, what I do believe is that whoever is trying to criticize her is clearly hating, but still listening to her music, because you really can't help it, and jealous because they don't have their own shit together. :) People like Lady Gaga need to be embraced by society, there's only so much of them.
Until then, I will continue to support her, she's awesome.

Artist of the Week: Slaughterhouse

The Artist (or in this case Artists) of the week is hip-hop supergroup Slaughterhouse. They consist of (from left to right) Joell Ortiz, Crooked I, Royce da 5'9 and Joe Budden. They first came together on the song Slaughterhouse for Joe Buddens album The Padded Room. They obviously took their name from the song. They released in album on the 11th of August which I highly recommend. The album is sickk and every artist is on point lyrically. These dudes are big in the internet circut but don't get much mainstream push which is a shame. But take theses dudes in. This is the Slaughterhouse.

School Style

As we all know, school is around the corner. I know it's depressing, but it's true. Ugh. I am one of many students who attend a catholic school and who is forced to hide my individualism in a uniform, however; I've gotten extremely bored with it and found it necessary to find ways to spice it up, and i don't just mean colored socks. I found Gossip Girl gave me so much inspiration...unfortunately our dress code is way more strict than theirs (we'd get sent home for wearing heels) *tear* it's a shame, Gossip Girl has impeccable and unique style combined in their uniform (oh how i wish we had blazers!) Anyway, even with the plain old cardigan and grey trouser, it isn't impossible to add some flair :). Adding bright and colorful accessories such as bracelets, bangles, earrings, head bands, hats, glasses, necklaces,belts and bags can do so much, just don't throw it on all at once! I wish Brampton had more people willing to take fashionable risks around here..sigh..only Christine understands that these people don't appreciate it. Smh.

Hey guys! its the person you've alll been waiting to hear from. Jazza!
Well theres something thats been bugging me n i would just really love to get it off my chest. I dont really know how to entitle this issue but i'll just call it " They Just Don't Get it ". Now.. when guys fall, they fall HARD. This includes: calling down your phone, Messaging you when you're offline on msn, Writing on your wall on facebook saying things like " ur dissin " because you haven't called or even texted, texting you saying " hey, i dunno if you got my last text.. you didnt reply" FYI guys, we didnt reply for a reason. If you call and it goes to voicemail and she doesnt call back or text or anything for that matter, dont call back, dont write on her wall, dont text her, dont facebook msg her, and dont msg her offline on msn. If she wants you trust me, she would def. answer her phone the first time, and if she doesnt get to it, she would either call you back or text you.
so guys, take the hint, if you feel like ur being ignored... you probably are.

LOL - Bi way stores used to sell g.shocks for 17.99

I think it's funny how fashions go in and out of style. It just really sucks that homegirl has to get her g.shock for $120 at LiveStock & The Bay. It's not his or her fault though, it's our changing trends, but not only that, the g.shock has evolved since way back when. Once an item is remade, and once other artists collaborate and create new versions of the watch the price increases. Okay, understandable.

-Gshocks ;by Casio. known for it's ressistance to shocks, hard knocks, and vibartions. They were first created for outdoor sports and they all consist of a timer/stopwatch of some sort. Recently there have been new g.shock creations solely meant for luxury and design ["NICEEE"] P.S Baby G is was created and aimed for young teens. I personally like baby G over the originals. More colours to chose from. Goodnight !

I was browsing the t.v today, and Cp24 was talking about recession love. Is it wrong? is it right? Just in case you don't know, recession love is basically a man or a woman facing financial hardships that looks for a mate with money, or at least someone that can help them carry their financial burden. Rihanna is just a wonderful woman. However that was not always the case. I remember when she was a fresh off the boat Star. "If it's loving that you want, you should call me your girl" oh yeh. =] She looked like a typical musician. Her style was very unique though, I'll give her that. LOL how'd she become so cool all of a sudden. I know it sounds bad, but it's true. I think she traded in her homegrown talent and swagger, for a new one. With some help from her stylist, i don't think she needs the stylist too much anymore. She's doing well all by herself.

Ouuu Cartoons

So it was a nice Saturday morning, i woke up early with no reason. Usually I'm rushing to catch a bus to work. But nop, nothing planned. So i turned on the tv & i remembered ! Saturday morning cartoons yo. It's been a long time. Unfortunately they all sucked. i miss "Disney's One Saturday Morning" it was amazing. OH geesh. These are my three favourite cartoons of all time.

I'm feeling like life is bitter sweet.

I can't help but think about my life right now.
There's so much to LOVE, but then there is so much to hate.
& i can't help but wonder to myself whether I'm living my life to the fullest. Is everything I'm doing right? What am i destined to be.
If i were to have watched my life blossom from afar, sort of like a fly on the wall, would i be everything i am now?
Would i have the same interests, would i like the same food?
Wear the same threads? & then i think, some things are better left unthought of.

It's funny because we really don't appreciate the sweeter things in life. I got off the bus last week & a little boy in a wheelchair was with his mom. He was so happy, he screamed "this was the greatest day ever!" His wheelchair didn't steal his joy, yet little things that happen to the fortunate people in this world leave us so bitter.

I'm making a vow to appreciate everyone, and everything.
When you look at the world in a broad perspective
you begin to grow as an individual.

Your intellect matures & maybe if I'm lucky I'll find a fly dude
with nice jeans and the same direction...

I'm so tired, I'm on the phone right now. I should be sleeping. This was an interesting day. I went for a walk in a rainstorm at night. The thunder and lightening was super cool. This weeks artist is my homeboy Big Sean, the rapper is a G.O.O.D music signee. Hes a pretty cool dude, actually very talented and witty. I started taking him in thanks to my dude and fellow Lint. member Julian, since then can't stop listening to him. DeSean Michael Leonard Anderson a.k.a Big Sean hails from Detroit, Michigan and is 21 years of age born on March 25, 1988. Big Sean so far has released 2 mix-tapes which are Finally Famous, and UKNOWBIGSEAN-Finally Famous vol.2. Finally Famous the album is supposedly to drop in 09 so look out for that, I'll def keep ya'll posted.

Last Sunday, i went Vintage Shopping !

My homie and i traveled from younge all the way to Ossignton. No passed ossington just to go to this snazzy little place, it's actually not little, it's quite big. Public Butter is the name. They were having an amazing sale. 50% off everything in the store except furniture.
They had allot of cowboy boots! & they have such a selection of vintage leather jackets. The number one score with vintage leather jackets.
1. They're real leather 98.9% of the time
2. They range from 40 - 80 Dollars!
3. No one will be wearing your jacket

The not to nice side with buying vintage leather jackets.
1. They're not always in the best condition, sometimes you really need to search for a steal.

I managed to buy zebra print herem pants. I stand mistaken, they aren't Herem they're ..whats the name again. Once i figure it our i'll post about it. But yes, & they're high waisted. Pretty bold, i'm actually afraid to wear it. It's the kind of outfit that only downtown peeps would appreciate. Brampton aint ready for it.


I miss you vintage has really cute dresses ! especially if you want to go Vintage for prom 10' check it out. It was closed, so we didn't get to go inside. I thought this dress was interesting and different.



TAHA ! Once you walk down Queen West, and you pass the Rehab Hospital ? There's no turning back. check out these vintage stuff. They actually had prices, and they were just lined down along the sidewalk. LOL no one was attending to them. There wasn't a soul in sight.

Daddy's Girls - August 11th on Mtv. Season Two

The girls are back. Woot woot. I really love this show. The new season has them in their first house in Hollywood. Although the show can be boring at times & it seems rehearsed, it's still really interesting. I think its because of the way they dress. Angela and Vanessa have such a neat style. Vanessa is just a sweetie 24/7. I actually like them in Daddy's Girls more than i do on Run's House. What do you think? - Cee

Chris Rock (I almost forgot this guy was still acting)is releasing a new film with a particularly different story line. Something that will take you inside of what we kind of ignore. It's called "Good Hair" and actually looks really funny, I would of thought otherwise considering it's 2 hours of hair talk. Oxford Skimmers are Simple & Classy

After a weekend vintage shopping i've come across alot of Oxford Skimmers. Men's , Womens, whatever they may be, they look amazing! They give any simple outfit that extra kick, and i find them extremely classy. If you're a thrifter you'll find they range from 30 - 60 dollars. The pictures on the right are from the Aa website. Theirs are quite expensive but they have a wooden bottom. The thrifted ones that i hav-Ceee seen don't have wooden bottoms so i guess theese are more legit.

Toronto is the shit. I've always known this, but this Caribana Weekend has allowed me to appreciate my city that much more. My girlfriend and i didn't go to Caribanna but we refused to stay in Brampton during the best weekend of the summer so we headed downtown. What opened my eyes the most was seeing a whole bunch of Americans taking pictures of buildings in the city. Buildings that i don't even know the names of. For this simple reason i've decided to create a post of my trip downtown, as if i was a tourist. Here i go !I'm not sure if there are street cars in the rest of the GTA, but the only ones i've seen are downtown. God bless streetcars.I love this picture. This was taken on Queen St. W & the C.N Tower is just chillin. Okay i'll get more in depth.

Ahem, The CN Tower, located in downtown Toronto, Canada, is a communications and observation tower standing 553.33 metres (1,815.4 ft) tall. It surpassed the height of the Ostankino Tower while still under construction in 1975, becoming the tallest free-standing structure on land in the world .

This is Old City Hall, i didn't know that before, and i used to walk by it every morning for 2 months. Shame on me. It's beautifull.

As we passed The Old Town Hall, i told my friend. "Hey lets take a picture by the fountain thingy" It's called Nathan Phillip Square. There was a homeless man causing a whole lot of mess up in there. lol.

We spent the whole day Vintage shopping, and then, back to quare one again. no square one is a mall, this is Dudas Square. It was pretty live at night. Younge street was full of American Boys and Cool Rental Cars. I Love T.O
